All the tubes we sell are of top quality and extremely reliable. Price differences have nothing to do with quality. Price differences are due to the type of plastic used in the multilayer pipe and the road it takes:

2. Alupex.be
3. End user

Pex-C: Henco (we don't sell rixc pipe anymore, Duofil is better).
Pex-B: Begetube (we don't sell Duo pipe, Duofil is better)
Pe-RT type 2: Duofil

Pe-RT exists in two types; we sell the type 2 up to 95 degrees with peak temperatures over 100°C.

Our pipes are all suitable for central heating and sanitary installations. Duofil pipes or alupex pipes insulated may be placed in the screed just like sheathed pipes.

Extra information:

Inner layer: This is the base of the pipe and the most important layer. In older pipes, we see the outer layers detached and it is only the inner layer that is between the fittings. The thicker this layer, the better the quality. 
Alu layer: This is the layer to keep everything airtight. The thicker the aluminium, the more pressure the pipes can be subjected to. Attention: The maximum pipe pressure for central heating is 3 bar (domestic) and 8 bar for the sanitary part. The thicker the aluminium, the more difficult it is to work with.
Outer layer: This is the protective layer of the pipe. For the protection of the aluminium or the diffusion screen.

Duofil has almost 30 years of experience in piping. Each tube goes through a high quality check as requested by the official inspections. Duofil additionally adds a few extra tests to guarantee extra quality.
