Sealing paste for sealing metal threaded connections in combination with flax/kemp.

Area of application

• To seal metal threaded connections, e.g. in gas, water (heating systems) and compressed air systems.
• Use in combination with hemp.
• Suitable for use on gas systems from -20 °C to +70 °C with maximum 5 bar pressure.
• Suitable for use on water systems up to 95°C with maximum 16 bar pressure.
• Suitable for use in water (steam) systems up to 130 °C with max. 7 bar pressure.
• Not suitable for oxygen.

Preparation

• Pre-treatment of surfaces:
• Clean surfaces thoroughly (free from rust) and degrease
• Processing

Instructions for use

1. Apply hemp in the screw thread, turn it with the screw thread.
2. Apply Kolmat generously and evenly to the entire thread.
3. Mount the joint.
