Press fittings are a joining system for multilayer pipes suitable for use in hot and cold water distribution systems, for sanitary or heating / cooling purposes. The mechanical coupling between pipe and joint takes place thanks to pressing using manual or electromechanical pliers, which permanently shape the fitting around the pipe in a few seconds. The hydraulic seal between the pipe and the fitting is instead guaranteed by the O-Ring seals inside the fittings. If the pipe is pressed with an electromechanical clamp, the fittings all have a constant and uniform seal, each joint is made in a few seconds and with minimal effort.
Further advantages of this system are safety on site, because all assembly does not require flammable or chemical substances as in other solutions, and the speed of execution: the joints are in fact immediately stable, so as soon as the last joint is made, the system is immediately ready for testing without any waiting time.
ALUPEX universal series
The universel series is compatible with a large number of different profiles (F, TH, U, H, B) and is rich in details that improve performance and facilitate installation.
The fittings are built according to the Leak before press principle: if the fitting has not been pinched then it loses water, this feature allows you to immediately identify any sections that are not pinched during testing with the system pressurized.
The plastic end-of-stroke rings of the tube are also equipped with inspection windows that allow you to see if the tube has been fully inserted and is “in contact” before proceeding with the clamping.
Main advantages of the ALUPEX press series
- Fittings compatible with different shaping profiles (F, TH, U, H, B)
- Control windows for the stop pipe
- Immediate and uniform sealing of the joints thanks to the use of pliers
- Speed of implementation and immediate testing of the system
- Safety on the construction site
- Low cost of fittings
